The 16 student sections with the most votes in the first round advance to the Semifinal Round which begins at 12:00 AM EST on Monday, February 13 lasting until February 24.

First Round Voting for the Naismith Student Section of the Year is complete. Congratulations to each of the schools below for advancing to the Semifinal Round.

On February 25, the eight student sections with the highest popular vote total in the semifinal round will get put in front of the Naismith Board of Selectors for a final vote, which will be partially based on overall votes, video, photo, essay, and other information submitted during a nomination process back in November.

Again, the key is to be in the top 16 for the first round of public votes (ends on February 12), so your favorite student section qualifies for the final round of public votes beginning February 13, 2012.
