But most likely Winston Shepard will not commit on Wednesday, he has stated that he is planning on committing in April. But now today he has Committed to San Diego State!!!! As we speak, I am trying to ask him what was the main factor that lead him to commit to SDSU the day after we lost to UNM the 2nd team on his list. I will let you all know if I hear back from him. But then I won’t because he can’t talk to anyone until he signs and LOI Letter of intent day.
Final list of schools that Winston Shepard was offered by: San Diego State, New Mexico, UConn, Oklahoma State, Oregon, St. John’s , UNLV. Winston Shepard had a great time on his second visit of the 5 in San Diego at Viejas, it was a “great atmosphere.” The Show from A ‘Sweet Season” Click Here. [June 2011: There's nothing Shepard can't do on the basketball court. His skills are limitless and his athleticism is off the charts. At the Pangos All-American Camp, Shepard looked as comfortable as a point guard as he did battling bigger players in the post areas. Despite his obvious talent, there's still room to grow as a shooter, something he'll need to do so as to prevent defenders from sagging off him at the next level. Shepard's first step off the dribble is an explosive one. If he can make that first step even more destructive by forcing a defender to stay honest (and close) when he's facing them up at the 3-Point line, Shepard will become a dangerous, must-guard wing player that easily projects to the high-major level.] Click Here.
