The music of the 70s and 80s cannot be discussed without mentioning the rock band Queen. A British rock band led by singer Freddie Mercury has captured the world with its operatic sounds and exciting stage performances.

Outside the stage, the life of Mercury, interrupted by AIDS, included luxurious parties, drugs and an infinite amount of champagne.

As the band became more and more successful, Mercury’s parties began to interest fans more than the band’s music. Mercury was known for having parties at his mansion, was drunk and visited gay clubs.

He held legendary birthday parties for himself, one year even sending his friends to Ibiza for flamenco dancing and fireworks.

On November 24, 1991, Mercury died of AIDS-related bronchial pneumonia at the age of 45. He died in his London mansion. On the eve of Mercury issued a statement about his diagnosis.

At the time of his death, Mercury accumulated a fortune of $ 30 million, which today will amount to $ 50-60 million, including inflation. His assets included real estate, works of art, license fees, rights to catalogs and more.

He left most of his fortune to his former bride, Mary Austin. She now lives in a 28 room Mercury mansion. He also left the money to his parents, the chef, the driver and his personal assistant.
