The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce (DTCM) today announced an exciting project with superstars Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Zoe Saldana. The collaboration focuses on the short film A Story Takes Flight, in which the actresses venture into the Emirati city through three different routes, all full of inspiration, discoveries and human connections. Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce has explained: “A Story Takes Flight is unlike any other film in which the defining character of our city is discussed. It is a story of the personal discovery of Dubai through its own interaction with the capital Emirati. Whatever you are or where you come from, your experience with us has no limits - and the fields to explore are endless. Inspired by his highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and promoter of the leadership aspirations of Dubai, the dubaities reflect the tireless spirit of the city, where the search for excellence has no limits. ”

Filmed by the award-winning director Reed Morano, known for her immersive, natural and cinematic style, she manages to capture the essence of each of the actresses and the close relationship between them, while underlining the beauty of Dubai.

Revealing his experience, Oscar-winning Gwyneth Paltrow has said: “This trip to Dubai has given me the opportunity to truly connect with the city, its people and the local culture. Dubai is special because it is a melting pot of cultures. Both those who were born here, as proud of their culture, as the international ones, who have brought their values ​​and traditions with them, contribute to writing the future history of the city. It had nothing to do with what I imagined and I still have a lot to see. ”

The actress and entrepreneur Zoe Saldana has commented: “The variety that Dubai offered me was perfect. From riding a horse at dawn to watching the sunset at 150 meters high. I am eager to bring my children here to continue the adventure with them. ”

For her part, Emmy winner Kate Hudson added: “Honestly, I am very grateful for the hospitality I received. Spend a lot of time wandering through the charming old quarter of Old Dubai.
