In a new interview, Margot Robbie talks about the uniqueness of Birds of Prey (and the fantastic emancipation of Harley Quinn) and also comments that James Gunn's new Suicide Squad movie is a full-fledged comedy.

"The story in Birds of Prey is told from the point of view of Harley Quinn," Margot Robbie confirmed. "So you have an idea of Harley's world in a way that you didn't do in the first Suicide Squad movie, nor that it will be seen in the next James Gunn Suicide Squad movie."

Margot Robbie described the tone of the movie: "She's a little crazy," she admitted. “It reflects his personality. It's big, it's funny, it's violent, it's crazy, it's absurd, it's eccentric, it's hilarious and it's a bit heartbreaking. ”

The movie will be about Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) starting a new adventure. She accepts a commission from the villain Black Mask that consists of finding a young woman who has a USB with important information. As the memory has been swallowed, Black Mask's henchmen want to open it in the channel, but Harley Quinn prevents it and will start a race for survival, as they will become the target of the gangster. But they will have the help of the Black Huntress and Canary, in addition to a police officer named Rene Montoya.

Then, the conversation turned to Suicide Squad. She shared the same thoughts as Joel Kinnaman, since the actor described the movie as more funny than the first, Margot Robbie reiterated that.

"You'll laugh a lot," said Margot Robbie. “It's going to be good, it's all I can say for now. It will be very, very good. ”
