The youngest of the Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas, has been a Type 1 diabetes patient since he was 13 years old. That is more than half of his life. It is said easy, but it is not.

The singer himself is aware of this. His wife, Priyanka Chopra, also had to learn to manage Nick's disease and adapt to certain issues of the pop superstar's life.

It is for this reason that Nick Jonas joined Cigna to be part of a diabetes awareness campaign, which was published yesterday at the celebration of World Diabetes Day.

The peculiarity of this new video is that it focuses on the stress management that a diagnosis of the disease can cause in a patient and the necessary adjustments to lead a regular life without complications.

The intention then of Nick Jonas to participate in the campaign is to help "Everyone be open with your doctor about anything they are feeling," either physically or psychologically.

So, if you were a patient with diabetes or know someone who is, remember that stress is one more regular factor and that the best way you can do it is by attending therapy or taking quality time off.

Then you can watch the video that was shared on Instagram and become aware of this disease that is becoming more frequent every day:

Nick Jonas is an American pop singer. He began his artistic career as an actor in Broadway musicals. He then focused on music and became known worldwide in the Jonas Brothers band, along with his brothers Joe and Kevin. He has participated in several movies and has 3 albums as a soloist. The ‘Close’ video clip with Tove Lo has more than 200 million views. He married Priyanka Chopra in 2018.
