Roger Waters wished that Morales's exile be short, due to the president's departure to Mexico, where he received political asylum, given the escalation of violence promoted by the opposition in Bolivia and that was threatening his life.

The former member of the British rock band Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, on Tuesday sent a message of support to the legitimate president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, after the coup d'etat of military political civic perpetrated by the far right of the plurinational state against him.

In his speech, Waters wished that Morales's exile be short, due to the departure of the president to Mexico, where he received political asylum before the escalation of violence promoted by the opposition in Bolivia and that threatened his life.

"You took democracy to every corner of your land and that is why they are now trying to strip your people, out of greed," said the former bass player of the mythical UK band in the video.

Similarly, the English musician conveyed his solidarity, saying that his heart and that of millions of people in the world, who respect human rights and democracy, are on his side.

In addition, Waters stressed that Bolivia is currently mired in "terror, fascism and totalitarianism," so the truth and the world will come to light.

“That you return as soon as possible, that you take the reins and that you can guide your country towards its brightest future. Evo dear, we are with you ”, were the end of the message propagated by the former member of Pink Floyd.
