A new generation of superheroes is ready to fight evil and does so from the pages of the postuma novel of comic legend Stan Lee, creator of characters like Spiderman or Hulk. The book Alliances, A Trick of Light, which arrived in Latin America later this month, was written by Stan Lee in collaboration with journalist Kat Rosenfield, before his death at 95 on November 12 last year.

A month before he died, Stan Lee surprised international publishers at the Frankfurt Book Fair with the announcement of his latest project, this novel in which he also addresses issues ranging from difficult family relationships to the risks of invasive technology .

The novel includes an introduction from the creator of Marvel in which he remembers how he was fascinated by science and mysteries? during the process of creating characters like The Fantastic Four and the X-Men. This aroused his curiosity about technology, which led him to consider playing with reality.

"We find a lost humanity within its own technological bubble, with which each citizen is the protagonist of his own digital fantasy," says Stan Lee in the introduction of his story, in which he presents a new generation of heroes : They are young and rebellious, possess extraordinary super powers and are not afraid to use them.

Nia and Cameron are these heroes: She is a? Hacker? very talented, but feels very alone. He lives far from the world with the sole company of an enigmatic father. The only way it has to interact with the outside world is social networks, but the virtual friendship of a million strangers does not even fill the void that surrounds it.

Cameron has the dream of succeeding on YouTube but while recording a video on a lake he is surprised by a storm that leaves him unconscious. And when he wakes up, he is no longer the same because he has an amazing cybernetic talent: the ability to control computers and electronic devices with the mind.

Both will unite to use their powers against a dark organization of unlimited resources that manages the world of information from the shadow.

The creative, editor and producer, began his career in the world of comics in 1939, as part of Timely Comics, which later became Marvel Comics. It was in 1962 when he and Jack Kirby created the family of heroes composed of The Fantastic Four and in the following years were born characters such as Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, the X-Men, Daredevil, Dr. Strange and the most famous of Marvel, Spider Man.
