There are reports that suggest that Stephen Curry is unlikely to return this season because of the injury he suffered in his hand. However, the team has said that the arguments have no basis and expect it back after three months.

"That's nonsense," said a Golden State Warriors source. "As we said before, he will be reevaluated in three months. There is no reason to believe at this time that he cannot play this season."

On Friday, journalist Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report made a clarification about his recent article stating that Curry would not play. "Although the injury was worse than originally thought, I would not play again this season because there is no competitive reason."

Before Friday's game, Steve Kerr said that "the plan is to return to the field playing at the time our training staff considers it ready."

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has "no idea" where the report that star point guard Stephen Curry is done for the season came from.

If Curry returns immediately after the estimated time of three months, he could play up to 30 games. The big question is whether the Warriors would risk it if they were already out of the fight at that time.
