She learned to accept herself and her body and wants to be a role model for other women and encourage them not to worry, says an insider. The singer listed 30 lessons she learned before her 30th birthday in December of this year. Her new body positivity was fourth on the list.
I learned to stop hating every ounce of fat on my body. I worked hard to retrain my brain. A little extra weight means more bends, shiny hair, and more energy, the Grammy winner wrote. I think that many of us go beyond diet, but it’s very dangerous to focus too much on this. No quick fix. I am working on taking my body as it is.
